I disagree with you strongly on the grounds that I believe it is not possible for someone acting in an ethically responsible way to rape a child. In my experience, the pedophile who has an overwhelming affection for children is very easily distinguishable from the "pedophile" who would be willing to hurt one for the purpose of sexual gratification.

This is, in general, true of course. Markaba seems to want to blur the line much more than it needs to be blurred. This is of course to support the idea that sexual contact with adults and children should not be allowed because "we just don't know who the monsters are!"
