I disagree with you strongly on the grounds that I believe it is not possible for someone acting in an ethically responsible way to rape a child. In my experience, the pedophile who has an overwhelming affection for children is very easily distinguishable from the "pedophile" who would be willing to hurt one for the purpose of sexual gratification.

The sexual orientation exists, but sometimes so do the urges.

I don't disagree with this. But if you have any real "urges" to molest children against their will, then you have a problem that needs addressing and it still isn't pedophilia.
