Hmm, so you're not arguing that urges don't exist (you used the word), just that unhealthy ones don't exist? Is that right?
From over here, Dante appears to be arguing not that sexual urges don't exist, but that "urges" don't exist for people, pedophiles included, in any such way as they are frequently referenced within the pedophilia-as-a-health-problem diatribe - as "magical mechanisms which exist outside of them or from some hidden self" (thanks Dante) by which ordinary people are compelled to do things they would NEVER OTHERWISE DO. For example: ... RAPING CHILDREN. :/ If your sexual urges are turning into sexual assaults, or you fear that they will and thus need help "controlling" them; then you are mentally ill, or you have a disorder. But ordinary, child-loving pedophiles are being indoctrinated by SHIT THAT STARTED THIS THREAD (I'm looking at you, Bullshit Documentary) to believe that their love of children is a mental illness that gives them "urges" that need to be controlled or suppressed and you know what, that is FUCKING SAD!! It's fucking sad. Why?! Because an Indoctrinated Me just told a Little Family Member that she could go upstairs and sleep in her own damn bed, irrespective of who's birthday it was. He was too afraid he might molest her when he wasn't looking. ~ R a i n b o w |
