All prostitution in Canada is officially illegal as of about now, as of the passage of the new law (C-36) which is now in force as of Dec 6.

Child exploitation/prostitution was already illegal there. Personally, I don't think a new law was needed. Canada had a vibrant "escort" culture, especially in the major cities of Toronto and Montreal. I believe that adults should be allowed to do what they like as long as it's consensual.
