All great information, thanks Dante. Something else I learned: the term 'checkmate' derives from the Persian 'shah mat' ('the king is helpless' or 'the king is destroyed' in Pashto). And Adnani seems to mean 'man', or at least 'Adnan' does. Is it possibly related to the hebraic 'Adam'? So, Mat Adnani's nick means something like 'Helpless Guy' in Pashto apparently.
