...that's where I seem to be with her sometimes. I do wonder "Can this be happening???" "Did she do/say what I thought she did/said?" ...and so on...


What I know is that little girls are not the sexless ideals conjured by everyone across the spectrum of opinion. Little girls are becoming women and you don't become a woman overnight. It's a long and strange and wonderful journey. Some of us just especially enjoy a certain phase in the journey.

I may get to go swimming with her soon. That will be a day filled with innocent intimacy and more than a few pulling-the-bikini-out-of-the-buttcrack moments. I long for it like a man in the desert longs for a drop of water.
