Life is kind of funny. Many years ago I lived in a flat with two other people. A friend of the one of the others came to visit one weekend and never left. Just bonded so well that , even though we weren't looking for another flatmate, we had found one. Stayed for years. Point is, you say that you dont have a history of visiting these people frequently. Get to know them. Look for similar interests, hell you might even find another friend.
