running, obese children and lateral thinking.

i keep reading that modern kids are too slothful and getting fat.

yet every day in schools they're being shouted at - "stop running" - when they give vent to natural pent-up energy : running along corridors, up stairs etc.

the obvious solution is to design new schools with separate dedicated running tracks/junglebar waystations etc., linking classrooms and other school areas.
