You might not want her to become your girlfriend because A) you have a wife (a relationship with a little girl should be taken just as serious as adult relationships) and B) you want to be careful what you do in public.

As for her having a crush on you, she probably does but is to shy to admit it.

could this girl have been sexually abused in the past? I heard that when little girls are sexually abused by men they sometimes crave more sexual attention from men. Maybe she doesn't actually think you have a crush on her but just wants attention in that way or maybe she just simply has a crush on you.
