A few weeks ago, I hired someone from church to do some work in my house, a job that took about 7 or 8 hours. Imagine my delight when he showed up at my house with his 11 y/o daughter! I had a couple short errands to do, and my wife was out of the house the whole day. So, I got to spend 4 or 5 hours with her while she "helped" her dad. A week or so later, I saw her at church, in another room through a window. When she saw me, I got a big smile and a wave! I make a point of saying "hi" to her every week at church now. This and other recent contacts convinces me more that the way to (safely) spend time with lg's is to keep a good relationship with the parents.
