At least I hope so. The letter that he showed me was written way before your advice I'm afraid, before I'd even posted about her here. At the time I was really caught up in the whole romance thing and let my heart get the better of my head, making me put down the inciminating words. I can't believe all the foolish things I've done. Though I suppose it was probably doomed to failed from the start, even if I'd done everything perfectly.

And then I look to the future, to a next time. If, as you say, this happens a lot then I've got a lot of pain to look forward to. Wonder how many girls I'll love and have to lose due to their parents. What kind of life is that?
