Re: Swearing and us (a GM)

Very nice story, I appreciated reading it (er, both my heads did) -- that was very acute of you to pick it out as a GM,and it's also revealing in its unusualness as a GM about what really *makes* a GM. Thanks very much for thinking of and posting that, I thought it was one of the more creative and interesting posts I've seen here in a while.

To chime in with a parallel GM, which took place during the recently described baseball game (couple of posts ago)... I was drinking beers and smoking (jes' tobacco) all the while, and the li'l girl didn't think twice, in fact seemed infinitely less haughty than many or most adults, and even looked curiously at the beer with perhaps more than a hint of desire. Of course, considering the surroundings I didn't crack open a brew for her, but I think you can still see the parallel. Speaking of "curiously" (and curiouser), doesn't everyone here find one of the remarkable and defining traits of Li'l Girls their irrepressible curiosity? So cute and beautiful...
