Swearing and us (a GM)

Some of you may remember me mentioning my YF "Maggie" before. Well, tonight as I type this she is asleep on my living room couch. Yep, her mom let her spend the night with my wife and I! yipee!

So, of course, all day and evening was packed with more GMs then I could possibly recount here. Each one small but ever so special. Anyway, there was one that you all might find a bit odd.

Maggie knows and recognizes that I don't treat her "like a baby." Tonight, she decided to test those limits to their fullest extent by daring to do what an 8yo would normally never dream of doing in front of an adult. She was layed across my lap and we were playing around (as we had been for hours) and I said something to her, though I don't remember what... Anyway, it was her response... She looked up at me with her big beautiful innocent eyes and reponded "Why the hell not? ... Or, I should say, why the fuckin' hell not?!" BREAKTHROUGH! Finally, rather than seeing me as an adult, she sees me as an equal the way I see her. She tested it gently, but once she realized that I wouldn't be punishing her (not in this lifetime!), she took full advantage. LMAO! For the rest of the night, every other word that came out of her mouth was fuck, bitch, asshole, etc. Now, here's the wierd part: I considered it a GM because not only was it a breakthrough in our relationship but it was incredibly intoxicating! I mean, I guess it was the fact that we were doing this naughty thing (cussing each other out, playfully) or something like that, but I had the same feelings that I had as a teenager while making out with a girl for the first time. I couldn't wait to hear her call me an asshole again so I could call her a little bitch and watch her just fall over laughing at that! It was the most...uh...unique GM I've ever had!
