I pretty much share your views on religion. Wasn't communism a form of orthodox religion? I mean the urge to control the people was the same, just the "gods" were different, and then still alive... :-)

I have nothing against religion, as long as it is not forced upon me. I respect their beliefs (at least the non-fundamentalists), so long as they respect mine and that it does not influence my way of living - i.e. is not part of law, or even is law. Like I said, many of us are babtized, but no one forces you to. Our church taxes are opt-out, though I would prefer it to be opt-in...

Our major religion is as I said, Protestant, but I believe Muslim comes in second due to recent immigration. We also have a very small minority of Catholics. Then there are of course those ultra's like the Jehova Witnesses and other similar extremist missionary sects, but they don't really count in the statistics.
