I am lucky that my GL does not really interfere with our relationship, I think having six years already in the bank helped too. I also discovered my feelings for lg's with my gf there every step of the way, so she knew that I was starting to realize I had those feelings and thus it was not a shock to her.

Look, if it ever got to a point where we were totally bored with each other and we were not as "hot" for each other, then we might try "swinging" or other things. The main reason we are NOT married is because we do not believe in that antiquated ceremony. She is my life partner, and we do no need some rings and some stupid vows to tell us that.

There are lots of options, but if one partner is going to seek "satisfaction" elsewhere, then the OTHER partner has every right to do so also. At that point it needs to be discussed. If it's not there sexually, you either end it or work out some way to keep it alive by doing more things (maybe threesomes or swinging, etc).

Besides, I don't buy into that cheating "just happens" bullshit. Like anything else in life, people make a conscious decision to do it or not to do it. what happens to alot of them is they get swept up in the passions of the moment and just give into their desires...but they KNOW exactly what they are doing. It's not an "accident", like alot of people use as an excuse.

I have no idea what my relationship with my gf will be like ten more years from now. We are planning to have kids in a couple of years, so I imagine things will be different then. I do know that she is my best riend and we know each other better than anyone else on the planet. I know that is not going to change. I'd like to think I'll still be hot for her then too.

Inf.
