To Innocence

Hey Man:

I feel your pain. No one ever said life was easy, though I know that's not much consolation.

If you've read other posts, you've already gotten a ton of advice, some criticism, and a lot of different viewpoints. I won't pretend to be in a position to offer any better advice.

I did want to tell you, though, that I'll think good thoughts for you. I've been dealing relationship problems a long time, and I've had my moments of being in your shoes, almost exactly. Think things through, and make the best decisions you can at the place where you are, and with the information you have, and then go ahead with life. Only time will tell if they were right or wrong, and if you have that time, you'll also have the chance to adjust and correct your course as things go. Even then it will be hard, but no one is more qualified to find your way through this mess than you are.
