She will need what is called a bonemarrow transplant if I understand your discription of the illness correct. This is a very painfull surgery and time consuming in that you need to find the right dooner [sp]. it may become necesary for her to go to another country for the operation. And I need to be honest with you, the disease you discribe is a form of cancer and although there have been many strides in dealing with cancer the fact is we still don't have a cure.


Nothing personal, but all of this is wrong. I think you are thinking of leukemia which is a type of cancer that causes an INCREASE in WBC's, albeit immature ones. Leukopenia can be associated with cancer (usually due to treatments) but it is not a type of cancer.
