I am not disgusted by most gms. If a certain poster is a little "nasty" for me, and believe me that is rare, I would choose not to read his/her posts. I do not believe we are ever going to see "respectibility", or gain mainstream acceptance, in my life time, so F 'em if they don't understand. Please don't let this become so divisive as it has in the BL community. If I ever hear the phrase "responbible boylove" in my life again, I'm gonna puke in a bucket!!! Don't tell me how to raise my own children or mentor the others I care about. Love and lust can coexist or be mutually exclusive. I think it is best to agree to disagree or the consequences are going to be people becoming angry, starting a dozen spin-offs, and all the communities being smaller. If that is what people want, so be it, but I would like to see the group celebrate its diversity and not squabble over "the rules", whatever anyone might perceive them to be. As a healthy bi woman, you think I don't drool over a pair of tight jeans on the right bod? I may not choose to write about it, most of you wouldn't be excited by the same sights as me anyway, but I would like the freedom to say "damn she was hot, or "man he made me weak at the knees", without being crucified. Some of the people here choose celibacy, and more power to them, but some of us want to experience life to the fullest in our lives and our dreams, without breaking laws and putting ourselves in danger. Where do we get to vent? I thought this was about supporting one another in our commonalities, not bickering. A house divided...
