#5: When I was a child

When I was about 10 years old and delivering newspapers,
I met a man who became a great friend of mine. In retrospect,
I realize that he was almost certainly a boy lover.

He was very well educated, very popular in town, very kind,
and I never felt uneasy around him. At the time I first knew him,
I don't think I even knew there was such a thing as a homosexual,
but when I visited him a couple years later I knew, and I had
an inkling of a suspicion about him - and decided I didn't care
if he WAS interested in me that way, I still liked him.

As it happens, of course, being a girl lover, I never did feel
any physical attraction for him - but he never pushed me either.
He was always the perfect gentleman.

I realized much later that he had given me some hints
that if I had been gay, I could have taken advantage of.

I also had a female teacher (when I was 12) that I suspect
was a boy lover, but on less grounds. Once again, perfect lady.

Did anyone else have experiences with boy lovers or girl lovers
as a child?
