#6: Lifelong girl lover

Just to add to the evidence that girl love is a lifelong thing:

My story is like many others here: I loved girls when I was
a little boy - though at the time I felt social pressure
never to admit such a thing as liking girls, yuck! -
and had an especially strong crush on a girl I knew
from Kindergarten through second grade.

My dealing with this was not helped by my mother's teaching me
about girls ("Girls don't like boys, and they only get married
in order to have children"), and my father's general verbal abuse
(which I think he thought was a sense of humor) which assured me
that even if girls *did* like boys, they would never like
a wimp like me. (In retrospect, I realize I was never
all that wimpy.) All through middle school I was attracted
to girls in my classes. High school started out that way,
but by twelfth grade my biggest crush was on a sixth-grader.
(She was gorgeous! Nice, too. I always like the nice girls.)

Through college I was often attracted to girlish students,
but the percentage dropped each year. . . . And I began to realize
that I was attracted to GIRLS, not women.

Since then, I've become very comfortable with that. I can't imagine
why any man could be attracted to old hags with large breasts.
Why, it's . . . UNNATURAL! ;-)

It's just a shame that I live in the USA - till Ragnarok!
