You cannot prove that. God is not a guy or a gal with a gold G on the front pocket of a long white robe, err, at least I dont think it is, BUT, just because we are so anxious to distance ourselves from this backwards retarded religious right fundementalist mentality doesnt mean we should give up on the idea of spirit and a thinking nature.

Science has a tendency to present itself as one of the most viscious, wicked, blind faith demanding religions of all time. I love science. But something is happening.. the human mind, consciousness, language, technology, culture, history, I suppose it could be two random processes colliding randomly for no reason like good old Darwin said which all begun in a single instant out of unflawed nothingness for no reason, but I'm starting to doubt it and I've always fancied myself an atheist...
