There is another book that I read in grade-school and to this day, it is still one of my favorites. It is a sort of coming of age story of a female canis lupus(sp?) -- a female werewolf. I don't want to get into the details, but in a nutshell, she falls for a human, and all sorts of problems ensue. It's a really good book, especially if you have a thing for werewolves and other such "creatures of the night" as I do :)

The title of the book is Blood and Chocolate by Annette Curtis Klause, and I have provided a link to amazon at the end of this post.

Some of her other books are good as well, but this is still my favorite.

One of my favorite werewolf MOVIES is Ginger Snaps, which is also a sort of coming of age story, but it revolves more around two sisters and their love of each other, despite the difficult choices they must make.
