Endless GMs

I just spent the most incredible week of my life wandering around Indianapolis with a twelve year old girl. I know I've said I was in love with her in the past, but I think that word has gained new meaning for me. I'm not a slave to the concept of monogamy, but the simple truth is I can no longer imagine being with anyone else.

We were there for Gencon... the title is intended to be somewhat clever, but let's forget about the thousands of Game Masters--there really was an endless supply of "moments" between us. It would literally take me several days to write a worthy account of what happened, and even longer to ensure that I wasn't revealing too much personal information. Sure, there were tens of thousands of people attending, but very few of them were adolescent girls. In the end, I'd simply have to cut out huge sections of my story or say "we went to an event", which IMO is really dull and detrimental to the otherwise incredibly magical atmosphere.

Still, though, I desperately want to write this stuff down and it's much easier for me to write when I have an audience. We were together for all six days, and we were on our own (i.e. away from her parents) for three. Already, it's becoming a slightly hard for me to remember exactly what happened and when. The entire trip was one gigantic GM--if it's even possible for me to trivialize the experience with such a label. Hell, take the final hour we were together (driving back from the airport)--we all had to cram into a minivan that was waaaaay too small. Arms and legs and suitcases were everywhere, and wouldn't you know it, the most comfortable place for my arm was around her shoulders. About ten minutes into the drive I figured that it was too dark for anyone to notice, and I found her hand with my free hand. She seemed a little more nervous than I, but once I managed to get ahold she squeezed back and didn't let go until we pulled into my driveway. That's over forty-five minutes riding in the dark with the girl I love, holding her hand, my arm wrapped gently around her shoulders... yet I don't think this would even make my top 5 list of Gencon GMs.

I guess basically I'm just wondering if you all are interested in hearing the entire story (and I repeat, it will be VERY long--though perhaps I can do it in multiple installments) and if so, how you think I should handle the self-censorship. I can alter details but that method is going to be long and tedious and could lead to inconsistencies. Still, I don't want to give a vague, piecemeal account.

Thoughts? Encouragement? Unbridled Envy?
