you did the right thing,and a wise thing too. im not sure how i would have handled that situation,given the chance to be with a girl who came knocking on MY door. she would have been safe with me of course,but i dont know if i would have been in a hurry to walk back to her place. i bet though that if she had stayed at your place and her mom had to go looking for her after work,the aunt would have been in real hot water and the girl wouldnt have to worry about being watched by that drunk ever again...lol
