You chose the lesser of two evils, Turtle...

...you chose to maybe hurt this girl's feelings, and make her feel embarrassed, or that she made you uncomfortable in some way...rather than making a choice that could have landed you in jail (or killed by a hate crime) and her in "therapy" for being "molested." I hate when such choices present themselves (as they do in every U.S. Presidential election in a different sence) but...that was the only choice you could have made under the current circumstances.
