Compliments are stupid.

Women only compliment you because they want to be complimented, and men only compliment you because they don't know what else to say, or because they think you're in a bad mood. Or at least that's how I perceive it all. When people compliment me IRL I usually ignore their attempts, which is better than what I used to do when I was younger, I suppose (roll my eyes at them).
