Yet again - the hypothesis itself on its own - is useless.

In serious debate a hypothesis that has not been given any way to get from A to be is impractical and useless.

"If human's could fly by themselves I believe cars would be a thing of the past" would be a reply to "What is the best way to cut down on car pollution". Serious question, impractical answer.
