Without an Hypothesis, where would our world be today? Absolutely all discoveries, advancment, and change come out of hypothesizing about something, and trying to get it done. Without using an hypothesis, science would hardly exist. Without using an hypothesis, we'd all be dying at 40 years old or less because we'd have no medical knowledge. Without using an hypothesis, you'd have no easily accessible electricity, running water, or heating. Without an hypothesis, we'd still be stuck sharing information through spoken words rather than written words. I could go on and on. Without looking forward and imagining a dream, there's no destination or idea of how to improve. Using an hypothesis is the very core of how we strive to understand and get better.

And don't you dare say all these points are purely hypothetical. Because you'll just be shooting yourself in the head again, losing what little debate credibility still remains in your arguments. They're not hypothetical, they're fact. And if you refuse to see that and realize how true the message of this post is, then it's your loss, not ours.
