Welcome to Girl Chat, and as has already been mentioned, We don't really throw them away when they reach a certain age; they "throw themselves away" when they cease being what we love and turn into what society expectsthem to be.
Considering the relentless pressure to conform, in this society, who can really blame them? It's just that we don't really want to waste the precious time we have on this planet. Let someone else, WHO HAS ALSO CONFORMED, play those vicious, destructive games that poison a relationship.

One thing that bothers me, is when a Christian woman takes it upon herself to try and turn me away from women, in the belief that this will bring me closer to Jesus. Hah! I can be led much easier than I can be pushed.

Reading, or misreading,some of my posts, may give you the impression that I am a misogynist, since I sometimes fail to distinguiiish between American women and "real" women. Don't take that personally, but as one who has lived in France, and spent time in the Scandinavian and Eastern European countries, I am spoiled.

Welcome again, and stick to your guns! Don't let any of us back you down; we will respect you more for it.
