I’m one of those that hates reading about GM’s.

I had a few, well three adults (as a child) that I shared a mutual admiration with. These relationships did not occur all at once, but over a period of about twelve years.

The first adult, I still talk to, when things get tough for me or for him. I guess I should say, he is my step-dad.

The second I never talk to. I have no way to get in contact. I last saw him when I was 18, and I made the trip to go see him. I miss him the most. He could call me, if he wanted to.

The third, well- I can call if I need to. I feel however, I am the one always calling and I don’t appreciate that anymore. I always drew the pictures, then wrote the love letters, finally, the calling. I do love him the most.

I dislike GM’s because I feel they are short lived and they never have the opportunity to grow into a relationship. I also feel that the moments only reflect in the viewers mind.

I had a ton of GM’s as a child, and for some reason “second adult” appears not to care. He meant a lot to me, and for some reason doesn’t bother to call. Same with the third adult, for a few years he appeared as my only friend.

Currently, I am in love with another child lover we started dating when I was in my teens and he was in late forties. I am now 23 and he is 55 (he just had a birthday!!).

I would like to know, when do you as a child lover let go of a princess? How do you know when it’s over? Can it really be, she turned 12- and now you no longer love her?
