Very interesting screen name, as long as it isn't personally revealing I'd love to know the origions of such....
Anyway welcome you are amongst a lot of who I would love to see a more active role on this board as I believe you to be our greatest of allies. One who has been touched by love as a child and hopefully have grown to be a wonderful outstanding free-thinking woman who other than to those you share it with would have no other inkling of what has transpired throughout your life.
And now to your question. In a perfect world I would fall in love with "my minx", a name I've chosen to describe the most awesome little 10 year old that I've ever had the pleasure of meeting, date platonically until she were old enough to consent by law (as you'll find most of us all agree to stay lawful even if we don't agree with and wish to change it) And then continue on the "normal" course of marriage, family, etc. as the time came for each bridge to be crossed.
Now I like many do know that's not always possible. Kids do grow up and change. Some that would have enjoyed my company as a child would probably grow up to no longer wish to associate with me or would do so only as a friend. I generally have never liked the friends with benefits thing and thus would probably not wish to subject myself to that again in my life. However I do believe that there are instances where even a love formed in childhood can last forever.
Hope that does answer your question and I hope you do stick around and bring to light many more debates that are just awaiting answers and bring forward your expertise as a girl loved to the rest of us lovers wishing to know that we truly mean no harm.
