I saw her again this week

This won't make any sense unless you read the GM linked below.

I saw her again at the pool. I was already in the pool when she walked in, and when I got to the side of the pool where she was, she came over to the water's edge to tell me that she couldn't come in yet. Unfortunately, the pool had to close, unexpectedly, before she could come in, so she went into the locker room to change. About an hour later, I was getting ready to go, but I hadn't seen her dad leave, so I thought she might still be there. I decided to check the room with all the vending machines, and on the way, debated whether or not I should offer to buy her something. When I got to the machines, she was sitting at a table. I put my stuff on a table next to hers. When I went over to one of the machines, she came over and said, "I think you should get this, this, or this" (pointing to different flavors). Then she answered my debate by saying "I want to get one of these, but I only have fifty cents." So I reached in my pocket and gave her the rest. She tried to protest, but I didn't listen. She bought what she wanted, and thanked me profusely. We sat at different tables, but facing each other, so we could talk. I finished my drink before she finished hers, and as I got up to leave, she raised hers in a mock toast.

Two months ago, she probably would have left the room when I walked in. Now, it's almost as though I'm her new best friend. Life is good!
