My Condolences

You're absolutely right. While I can empathise with your pain, I can't know it from the inside.

Despite a decade of marriage, I've spent most of my life alone. And the times where I most needed someone don't coincide with the times where there was someone. I can understand some of where you're coming from, even though I'm not there myself.

And human contact is all too rare. At some point we're still primates waiting for grooming to cement our security and social bonds. ( And that's the only context in which you'll hear me link Pedos to "grooming") But I fully understand what my Ex-wife said about her teen years and going months on end without any form of touch; hitting oneself in order to feel contact.

While such feelings are a constant; I hope you come out the other side of this period feeling better. There are times where all we can do is distract ourselves until this intense focal point passes over and the lonliness ceases to blot out all the other good things in life.
