I don't donate to anything in order to make myself look good. My love for children is real and it *is* good. And to donate as part of a group under the banner of that love we share, I think, is a wonderful thing, and to denounce it or try to dissuade others from doing something completely good and positive is really rather shameful. Nobody is forcing you or anyone else to take part, and nobody wins favor by doing it. And you will not smear other people's generosity to kids for Alice Day.
