Encouraging economic growth to end poverty, fighting for youth rights to end kids’ status as non-persons, etc. Those are fantastic goals. And the great thing about them is that they’re universal. Really, there’s not much about being erotically/romantically drawn to kids that makes us champions of every kid on the planet. It’s a really patronising idea that we would be. There’d be something strange about an effort to raise money for a women’s charity that only applied to heterosexual adult males.
