There are certainly better way to help kids.

That applies to kids in far off money-poor lands, and kids closer to home too. Encouraging economic growth to end poverty, fighting for youth rights to end kids’ status as non-persons, etc. Those are fantastic goals. And the great thing about them is that they’re universal. You don’t have to be a paedo to support them.

Really, there’s not much about being erotically/romantically drawn to kids that makes us champions of every kid on the planet. It’s a really patronising idea that we would be. Sort of like a bunch of ‘straight’ men getting together and deciding that because all of their partners have been women, they should strive to improve the world for all women. There’d be something strange about an effort to raise money for a women’s charity that only applied to heterosexual adult males. If a charity’s goals are worthwhile, then supporting them shouldn’t be about what gets you erototoxins pumping.
