The word alone holds SOOO much fortitude in every discussion I engage in. It is, by definition, a child who is attracted to adults.
Not only does the single word alone fly in the face of the notion that it's impossible for kids to find adults physically attractive, it also brings to light the fact that kids have any sexual feelings at all, and also that they can even consent to or even initiate sexual encounters with adults.
Plus, making it a discussion about teleiophilia instead of pedophilia also takes the whole selfishness factor off your back, the very thing that makes a pedophile appear like he is only debating to justify his own sexual tendencies, rather than for what the children want, which at first impression (which many won't take their eyes off of no matter what you say) inherently looks like we are condoning the rape of children.
So remember, think teleiophilia. The "For Them Not You" factor that kicks all detractors in the mouth. =)
