And once again folks, when you see a Japanese girl's age, subtract 1 year to get the western equivalent. A Japanese LG is 8 when she starts her eighth year, not when she ends it :)

You sure about that? I'm thinking Koreans do this, and maybe Chinese still do, but I thought the Japanese had adopted the western system.
