This matter is further complicated by the fact that "pedo" has a legal connotation concerning AOC. One country's pedo is another country's happily married man. Likewise, people often chastise themselves for being attracted to "underage" girls, but it's preposterous and hypocritcal because a girl can be "jailbait" one day and "legal" the next, and suddenly the feelings of guilt are alleviated.

How silly that a person will deny the existence of beauty based on an arbitrarily-determined age.

Of course, I suppose the issue here is not 15 vs. 16yo (UK) or 17 vs. 18yo (US), bur rather an age of exquisite beauty universally forbidden such as 10yo.

I do agree that all attractions and orientations are not binary (i.e. 1/0, on/off, yes/no). I'm not attracted to males but every now and then I will see a beautiful guy... although it's always a guy exuding feminine qualities (such as Japanese musician Mana, who I mentioned elsewhere). I can't stand masculinity. Still... beauty hides in all sorts of places, just waiting to be discovered.
