Agreed. There is no harm in accepting donations even from a group one is opposed to. Typical is the Salvation Army which campaigns for abstinence and yet has its collectors frequent pubs and clubs from where a fair amount of revenue is raised.

At times, the collectors have been accused of being hypocritical for doing this. Mostly they just smile and say, 'Yes, but it brings the money in - God Bless You."

The Salvation Army will gladly accept ANY donation to help with its many charitable works. (And you get a blessing for free.)
