Difficult to judge other people's circumstances, but I would have been so tempted to go for the kiss. In my experience, kissing is one thing at least that doesn't freak out LGs as much as I used to think it did. The first - and so far, alas, only - LG I ever got anything like intimate with was kissable and kiss hungry! First time I ever kissed her was a belly kiss. I had helped her and her little brother build a kind of den to play in, and when he was called away by their mother, me and Z just hung out in the den. She lay down and I did too and rested my head on her tummy. We talked for a while then I just couldn't resist. I lifted my head, pulled her tee shirt up a bit and kissed her belly button. She smiled at me and I planted so many blissful kisses on her tummy I lost count. That was heaven. She was 12 and wore pink lycra cycling short and a red tee-shirt. I can't be the only guy here who tries to photographically memorise what LGs are wearing for mental playback, can I??
