i have no idea what goes on inside your head or what you look like physically,but something about you she found comforting or perhaps curious.
the cap doesnt mean anything other than she was making contact with you of her own desire. it was her way of saying hi and watching your response. if you had been more outgoing towards her(i know,you were caught off guard,happens to all of us...)she might have hovered near and started talking to you. she was offering you an opening,and you missed it.

i have been in a room full of kids before and they would all be preoccupied and oblivious to me except one kid. the one kid(its been a girl more times than not)would stare,flirt,dance,smile,giggle,etc,do whatever she could to get my attention. i dont think you can dismiss it easily,because she ignored the other adults and kids in the room and focussed on me. this has happened to me 5 or 6 times. one time,the girls focuss was so into me that she got mad when mom pulled her away(from me)and ran back over to me a few moments later,much to moms irritation.

why do they do this with someone they have never met before? who can say? i have had kids come right over to me before and sit on my lap the first time they met me. the mom told me once that it was weird because "she is shy and i cant get her to talk to her own grandpa. ive never seen her act like that before."

two possibilities?

1. you have met before in a previous life and you were either family,friends,or lovers. she doesnt recognize you per se,but she knows you
instinctively from that other life. your souls recognized a familiar vibration,and she was attracted to you.
(no? too romantic?)

2. she recognized something in you and was comforted by it. it felt safe and put her at ease. maybe she felt your kindness or you reminded her of someone else she knows and likes.

3. maybe it was just a playful kid and it didnt mean shit?

you think the cap stunned you...wait until a girl you barely know climbs onto your lap uninvited and 20 minutes later tries to put your hand on top of fun mountain! when something like that happens to you,let me know...
