I had an odd GM at the doctor's today

Hey all,

I had a rather inexplicable moment at the doctor's office today, courtesy of a LG.

When I walked into the office today, there was a group of kids sitting on the floor and drawing and coloring with magic markers to pass the time.

The oldest was a blonde girl of about 9 or 10 years old. She was stunningly beautiful, and I mean beautiful enough to be a model. I would love to see how she will look in just a few years...she will be the most beautiful AG you can possibly imagine. I don't usually look at girls that young, but this girl was just incredible. Unfortunately, I never got to speak with her before she left.

But then came the puzzling part, which was a bonafide GM.

The youngest kid there drawing was a LG of about 3 years old. She had highly unusual facial features, almost surreal.

As soon as I sat down in a chair to wait for my turn to see the doctor, that toddler girl walked up to me and handed me the cap to one of the markers she was coloring with (not the marker itself, mind you; just the cap). Not knowing how to react, I simply said, "thank you," and I spent a few seconds looking down at the cap incredulously, not certain what this girl wanted me to do with it. No sooner did I look down at the cap than the girl walked back over to me and took the cap back from me. She never uttered a word the entire time.

I have no idea what that whole thing was all about.

I asked a few peeps in chat, and here are some of the explanations I got:

It was a trust issue...the girl was intending to hand me the cap so I could hold it for her and not lose it, and because I was an adult, she trusted me. But this explanation doesn't really hold water, because she could have handed the cap to her mom, who was sitting right in front of her. Instead, she handed the cap to a strange man that she never saw before.

Another person told me that I was over-analyzing the whole thing, that there was no logic or reasoning behind what the girl did, and that I should have just enjoyed the attention. But I'm not sure how to enjoy an action that makes absolutely no logical sense to me.

Not being a true pedo, I guess I just don't understand LG psychology, especially that of toddlers.
