An incident that is very dear to me; and that comes up in my mind rather often, and doesn't even involve a child directly, but inspires me.

One and a half years ago, I was in a summer camp, as some kind of instructor. Two of my best friends were there too. At night, in our tent, we were commenting the events of the day and such. It was mentioned how two girls who were best friends in the camp (they didn't know each other previously) had had a... problem between them, let's say... Both my friends seemed confused, because they had been close friends up to that day. I already knew the whole story, though. I explained the situation as best I could, while respecting their privacy (as each girl had in turn asked me to do when they told me what was happening). After that, the dialogue, verbatim, went:

"We've been here for a week, and you just arrived yesterday [long story, but that was true], and they're already telling you their entire lives. How do you do it??"

That question was pride-inspiring.

I was thinking "is that really so hard for you teleios??"

I answered "Hm, I don't know. It just comes naturally" which was not really a lie, but which is not exactly the full truth:

"Because I am a Girl Lover, and that's what Girl Lovers do."

The question alone told me I am right.
And I fight because one day I want to give the full answer to that question.
