I think you are misunderstanding the context of the statement, or are you just being mischevious ;-)

Baldur is suggesting you tell little white lies only in order to throw any anti ped predators off the scent. If, as is commonly thought, they routinely gather information in the hope they can piece together enough facts to identify someone.

When I recounted my protracted legal troubles on GC, I changed dates, names etc - are you saying I was wrong to do that?
