I was thinking the girl was being emotionally abused and neglected...not being fed well, paid attention to...etc...but look where your mind went.

Sexual abuse might be added to the above, that is all.

I wonder if that means anything? :)

It means I am open to the possibility that it might be sexual abuse, whilst many here obviously are not.
