Something vaguely similar happened to me the other day. I was in the supermarket and my eye was caught by a lovely little girl of about four or five who was doing some sort of gymnastic routine on the end of a till. I really wasn't looking for very long but she saw me and smiled then her mum happened to look up, with a slightly accusing look, and instead of flashing her my typical smile and convincing her I was simply amused by her small child's antics, I looked away slightly guiltily! I realised it was the worst thing I could do but nothing came of it and I may have just been being paranoid! Oh well.
