You would have to ask for jd420's expertise on this, but I don't think 3 or 4 really qualifies as a toddler. They don't really toddle any more. 4 year olds really walk normally.

But seriously, you're probably just pleasant to look at. Also note that, as other have pointed out, little children are less inhibited. The extraverted will resist absorbing the lesson, "It's not polite to stare." Prior to 5 years or so, they don't have a well-developed sense of time, either. In any case, they tend to get absorbed in whatever they are doing.

On a lighter note, I think it is a toddler conspiracy to lower your AoA. Stewie's behind this, I'm sure of it! A-HA-HA-HA!
