Another strange and inexplicable GM

To all,

I had another strange and inexplicable GM involving a toddler a few days ago. Once again, the toddler mindset really puzzles me.

I was walking towards a restaurant with a friend to acquire dinner, and there was this family already inside the restaurant eating, and they were sitting in a booth by a window I was walking close to. Among them, and looking out the window in my direction, was a blonde LG of about 3 or 4 years old. She was very cute. I simply glanced in her direction involuntarily and all of a sudden she locked eyes with me and started grinning at me intensely. And I mean very intensely, with not the slightest degree of shyness or modesty on her part. That grin on her face totally creeped me out, because I had no idea why she was looking at me that way...I wasn't dressed in any way unusual, nor was I doing anything unusual at the time. I was simply walking towards the entrance of the restaurant. Yet this girl was staring and grinning at me as if I did something extremely amusing. Of course, I got nervous and was thankful that we ended up sitting someplace in the restaurant far from where the girl and her family was sitting.

Just after the incident happened, I thought of you guys in the community here and wondered what some of you would have made of that strange incident. I just don't get LG's, particularly toddlers. I swear on my life that I did nothing to merit that intense glare, nor the grin.
