Wow, an intense little girl smile! I hope you got the chance to smile back, at least a little.

Anyways, there seems to be a bit of intuition mixed with the curiousity on the little girl's part. I'm not aware of what it is that enables them to have that connection, but I know that it happens.

Here is a recent case involving my own experiences to highlight this point a bit. I was at a party myself a few weeks back, and much to my surprize, and delight there were a couple little girls there, (sisters too!) and for some reason they seemed to know right off that they had a lot of my attention. They were just full of giggles and whispered little secrets to each other. They weren't interacting like that (as far as I could tell) with anyone else in the room there up to the point when I arrived.

As soon as I was there, they seemed to mutually *know* - "OH GOOD! We have someone to play with!" That particular aura of mine was on full blast it seemed.

I'm not exactly certain that is what happened to you, but that's what I'm guessing anyways.
