The nicest GM-filled weekend in a long while

In the church, after having taken my seat, a mother arrived with her daughter and had asked me whether they might sit there. The girl in question was 9 (as I learned later), with ponytail, a lovely black one-piece composed of multiple translucent layers, she looked pretty decent and was carrying a handbag. Sure like hell I told them they might :)
We already started a bit of conversation before the ceremony, mostly with the mother as the daughter appeared somewhat shy. I didn't try to push her into a chat anyhow, but at any rate it appeared both her and her mom got comfortable with me.
The church ceremony went on without major events, and afterwards at the city hall, I didn't sit next to them since the rest of the family (dad, little brother and grandma) also joined them, and I thought it would appear just freaky (for the mother anyhow) if I tried sitting beside them each and every time. So that ceremony passed without much happening, apart from the official wedding of course.
Following that, some people went home for a change but I could head directly towards the club house where the dinner was to be held. Some girls arrived as time progressed, and since I had nothing better to do anyhow, I just started chatting with them, which eventually turned into a rather freestyle tag game. The girl I met earlier also joined us, and well... during the tag game, I was having my extra fun with tagging/hugging/lifting/tickling a rather sweet bunch of girls who were laughing and screaming as they kept on running all around the garden. (Note to self: little girls apparently have built-in NOs.) After some good half an hour of fooling around, we were told to go indoors and get seated. Some instructions about where to sit were given but no-one really cared to follow them to the letter. So I ended up sitting beside/across her and the members of her family, she being one empty chair apart (which was removed later.)
We all got into a rather nice and rolling conversation, and she seemed to be more and more my type of LG. 9 years of age was a bit too low for my taste, but otherwise, she was clever, having an excellent build (competition swimming), a good taste in literature, a sort of hyper attitude once she finished considering the other person a total stranger, but retaining a ringing voice and not losing a dram of her girly and adorable personality. So the convo went on, she opened up and I was pretty relieved to see that neither of her parents found this anywhere near objectionable. I have also figured her parents be of a character more liberal than average. So I couldn't help myself, kept on chatting with her for over two hours, when the dishes were finished and the night continued with dance music. I took my time to head over to one of the waiters asking for a notepad and pen, and I wrote down my name and postal address, then I pocketed the tab. I was unsure if it was a good idea to give it to her right away. On the other hand, she asked me to dance with her a couple of times, and I felt like being in the heavens, particularly during a slow-paced dance when she without any hesitation hugged me closely and danced with me like that despite the obvious height difference -- and even though feeling like in heaven, I was pretty nervous I would get noticed that being this close was way too exciting. (Couldn't help it; but if she noticed, she was cool about it.)
The cakes the arrived, so we sat down again (her parents didn't seem to mind us having danced together that long;) earlier it was mentioned by me that I used to cut semi-precious stones for my own fun. She spotted some decoration on the cake trays being red pebbles (limestone painted) and she picked up one and gave it to me with "here, you said you could cut stones. So cut something for me."
I was pretty much puzzled how, but then I came up with an idea, so with a Swiss army knife I carved a smiling face into the stone in the matter of five or so minutes. She looked at it and she said that it was perfect, that was just what she had wanted. She quickly put it into her handbag, and I was really happy about it. She then also showed all the things she kept in her handbag, various sorts of pens, lipsticks, fluorescent strings, a pencil sharpener, and numerous other bits of girls' accessories; that was really cute and heart-warming.
We kept on chatting, and dancing as well even though she was asked a few times by guys of her own age... but I didn't feel bad about that. Then the event slowly dissipated since most people started to grow sleepy or too tired. She and her family also were about to leave when I took that piece of paper with my address out and gave it to her, telling her that if she felt like, we could exchange mails. Her mom suddenly became a little suspicious and checked what was on the paper and why I gave it to her, so I had told her the same. Then she told her like "wow, that's cool for you, you have just finished learning writing, you could use it for something fun," and thus I was apparently accepted as an adult penmate for their daughter. And I was also given a goodbye kiss on my cheeks.
Guys and girls, please cross fingers for me. She's all too sweet, I wanna stay in contact with her... (note to the antis: no, that does not mean banging her.) And if anyone could give some tips about how I should behave if she wrote a mail, what to avoid, then I'd be happy to hear them.
